Consultations

As a busy colour salon, a lot of our work is planned bespoke colour. For us to give you the best results possible its vital we do an in depth consultation before any works begin. This is to really have a hands on look at your hair strength, colour, texture and condition. We offer these in person and virtual via Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp video call. (Please note that we may require a face to face consultation if desired result is complex.) By law we also need to patch test you 48 hours before your appointment (see patch testing).

 

Cancellations

We run our business with appointments, some up to 5-6 hours. It’s vital we have a cancellation policy in place to protect our stylists. Last minute cancellations can have a huge impact on our business as we simply cannot fill that appointment. Whilst we understand that things can come up last moment we hope you understand the reasons why we use the deposit scheme. Without this we would not be able to provide you with the level of service you come to expect at Adam Alexander London. Please see deposits for the list of charges. Please note cancelling any appointment within 48 hours will be subject to our cancellation policy.

Patch Testing

As hairdressers patch testing before using a hair colour is a legal requirement under Section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work Act. With a rise in clients experiencing allergic reactions to hair dye after contracting COVID-19, it is now compulsory to perform a patch test at least 48 hours before any colour treatment. If you are travelling to the salon from outside the UK or for a long distance, we can post you an industry approved patch test; these are priced at £25 (free UK postage only).

 

Deposit & Cancellation policy

We don’t take a deposit but we do have cancellation policy. All appointments are confirmed with credit card details.

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours. Please give us as much notice as possible for cancellations or changes to appointments as this can hugely affect our business. Please note changes to appointment last minute e.g not having colour will be classed as a cancellation.

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will be charged 50% of total appointment bill.

No show appointments will be charged 100% of total appointment bill.

Please note that our cancellation policy is non negotiable.

Appointment Times

Please don’t be late. We try to give you the best possible experience at Adam Alexander London and we want you to enjoy your full appointment, we also want our next guest to enjoy theirs too!. That’s why we must insist you arrive on time. We do offer a grace period of 15 mins on the off chance you are running late. Anything after the grace period is at stylist discretion and depending on the type of service you are having.

 

Hair Promise

We promise to give you the best hair we possibly can! We want everyone to leave Adam Alexander London feeling and looking amazing. On the off chance that your hair isn’t what we discussed, or technically something wrong we do offer a 2 week re-colour service. If your hair hasn’t covered those greys properly, if your hair is still a bit brassy just send us a quick email or pop into the salon and let us get to the bottom of it. Please do let us know within the 2 week window or we may have to re charge.
